Weekly Photo Challenge: Urban

Not quite conforming to the challenge but I came across this photo the other day and it reminded me of another time in my life. It was taken by a former boyfriend out of a window of my then-apartment in the centre of Berlin.

I remember the day quite clearly, although it seems a lifetime ago. Do you have photos that seem to encapsule a whole period of your life in the second it takes to take a snapshot?

How to tell you’ve married wisely

The Husband has devoted the last couple of days to sorting out the garage. This mainly meant consolidating overlapping sets of tools — his own and my dad’s. He ended up deciding to pass on his own to a friend and keep my dad’s. He claims those were of better quality. Even if that’s true, I know it’s only half the story.
