Here’s a quick update for anyone concerned about the inhabitants of our nesting box: The Husband, who sleeps downstairs these days to get a break from me and my pneumonia noises (I try not to take it personally and have cluttered up the marital bed with books and cats and laptops anyway) has reported lively activity going in and out the box, so all seems well.
